In this video, Gail and Cindy are meeting with Bobby, a third grader with whom Cindy has worked for a year and a half (Cindy looped up to third grade with her students). Bobby identifies comprehension as his goal, and Gail and Cindy agree with his choice. They look at strategies that may help him progress and decide on one together. He leaves with the goal of stopping at the end of each paragraph to check for understanding. Knowing they'll be checking in with him the next day helps keep him accountable.
